This 2-hour fire resistive cable is a 14 AWG single-pair (14-1 Pair) construction with solid bare copper conductors, LSZH silicone rubber insulation, and an interlocking metal armor. It carries a CI (circuit integrity) rating for installation in free air without conduit and is UL 2196 certified. The 2-hour circuit-integrity rating class is established by UL 2196, which subjects the cable to a combined fire and hose-stream test so that the circuit continues to operate during a fire.
