Cookie Policy

What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. We use a deliberately small number of cookies, and we do not set any third-party advertising cookies unless you have consented through our cookie banner.
Cookies We Set
These first-party cookies are necessary for the website to function and do not track you across other sites:
- rwc_consent — remembers the choice you made in our cookie banner, so we do not ask again. Expires after 1 year.
- rwc_locale — remembers your language preference (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, or German). Expires after 1 year.
- rwc_cart — an anonymous identifier that keeps the items in your shopping cart between pages and visits. It contains no personal information.
Payment Processing
Our checkout uses Authorize.Net’s Accept.js library to process card payments. Your card details are encrypted and sent directly from your browser to Authorize.Net; they never pass through or get stored on our servers. Any cookies or storage used by Authorize.Net during payment are strictly necessary for completing your transaction.
Embedded Videos
Some articles and resource pages embed videos hosted by YouTube or Vimeo. We use the providers’ privacy-enhanced modes (YouTube “nocookie” and Vimeo “Do Not Track”), which are designed not to set advertising cookies unless you play the video. When you play an embedded video, the video host receives standard technical information such as your IP address.
Analytics and Advertising Cookies
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads remarketing, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand site usage, measure marketing, and show relevant advertising on other sites. These technologies load only after you accept cookies through our cookie banner, and never for visitors who have opted out or whose browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. When active, they set cookies such as:
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors and sessions. Up to 2 years.
- _gcl_au — Google Ads: conversion measurement. 3 months.
- _fbp — Meta Pixel: distinguishes browsers for advertising measurement and audiences. 3 months.
California residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with these technologies at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
How to Control Cookies
- Use our cookie banner to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is remembered for a year.
- You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the necessary cookies listed above may break features such as the shopping cart, checkout, and language selection.
