The 3M™ 7624-T-110 (3M stocking number 7000006102) is a QT-III Cold Shrink silicone rubber indoor tubular termination kit for terminating 5, 8 and 15 kV solid dielectric shielded power cable. Each kit makes three single-phase terminations on tape shield, wire shield or UniShield® cable with polyethylene (PE), cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or EPR insulation. The one-piece, non-skirted silicone rubber termination uses High-K stress relief (stress control tube plus conformable stress controlling compound) with a built-in environmental top seal, and is qualified as an IEEE Std. 48 Class 1 termination rated 110 kV BIL.

Conductor Range by Voltage Class (compression lugs or connectors)

• 5 kV: 500 – 750 kcmil
• 8 kV: 350 – 700 kcmil
• 15 kV: 4/0 AWG – 500 kcmil (120 – 240 mm²)

Final kit selection is determined by cable insulation diameter: primary insulation O.D. 0.83" – 1.53" (21,1 – 38,9 mm), jacket O.D. 1.12" – 1.87" (28,4 – 47,5 mm). Also usable with 3M™ Mechanical Shearbolt Lugs QL2 Series (4/0 AWG – 350 kcmil at 15 kV, part QL2-A-1/0-350).
