The 3M™ 7695-S-4 (3M stocking number 7000006122) is a QT-III Cold Shrink silicone rubber skirted termination kit for terminating 5 through 25/28 kV solid dielectric shielded power cable, indoors or outdoors. Each kit makes three single-phase terminations on tape shield, wire shield or UniShield® cable. The one-piece, 4-skirt termination combines a UV-stable, tracking-resistant silicone rubber insulator with High-K stress relief (stress control tube plus conformable stress controlling compound) and a built-in environmental top seal, and is qualified as an IEEE Std. 48 Class 1 termination rated 150 kV BIL (25/28 kV class).

• 5 kV: 700 – 1500 kcmil
• 8 kV: 600 – 1250 kcmil
• 15 kV: 500 – 1000 kcmil (240 – 500 mm²)
• 25/28 kV: 250 – 800 kcmil (150 – 400 mm²)

Final kit selection is determined by cable insulation diameter: primary insulation O.D. 1.05" – 1.80" (26,7 – 45,7 mm), jacket O.D. 1.39" – 2.40" (35,2 – 61,0 mm). Also usable with 3M™ Mechanical Shearbolt Lugs QL2 Series per the kit instructions.
