It features 8 conductors of 24 AWG (American Wire Gauge) tinned copper in a stranded construction, with an overall foil shield and drain to help reduce EMI/RFI. The cable uses PVC-polyvinyl chloride insulation and a PVC-polyvinyl chloride jacket, rated 300 V with a general purpose fire rating. A slate outer jacket and defined Alpha Wire Color Code D conductor identification support clean, consistent installations.
