Alpha Wire 5132C SL001 Xtra Guard 1 is a shielded, multi-pair performance cable built with 2 pairs of 18 AWG Stranded Tinned Copper Conductors and a durable PVC Insulation and Jacket system. It features an overall foil and Braid Shield (braid over foil) with an 18 (16/30) AWG Tinned Copper Drain Wire to help reduce EMI in noise-sensitive control and instrumentation runs. Designed for general-purpose applications, it carries 300 V rating and includes UL Listed Art 800 plus additional AWM and CM/CMG markings as shown in the factory print. The cable is constructed with defined twist rates, a polyester tape core wrap, and a ripcord to support easier Jacket removal during installation.
