Alpha Wire 5136C SL001 Xtra Guard 1 is a shielded, multi-pair performance cable built with 6 pairs of 18 AWG (American Wire Gauge) Stranded Tinned Copper Conductors for reliable signal integrity. It features an overall foil and Braid Shield (braid over foil) with an 18 (16/30) AWG Tinned Copper Drain Wire to help reduce EMI/RFI in demanding installations. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Insulation and a PVC Jacket support durable routing, with a 300 V rating and a General Purpose Fire Rating. Designed for controlled pair geometry, it includes 5.3 Twists/foot (min) per pair and 2.1 Twists/foot (min) for the cabled core, plus a ripcord for easier Jacket removal.
