Alpha Wire 5174C SL001 Xtra Guard 1 is a 4-Conductor, 16 AWG shielded PVC cable designed for reliable signal and control wiring in electrically noisy environments. It features Stranded 16 (19/.0117) AWG Tinned Copper Conductors with an overall foil-and-Braid Shield (braid over foil) plus a Tinned Copper Drain Wire for effective grounding. Built with Nom. PVC Insulation and a Nom. PVC Jacket, it supports 300 V applications and includes a ripcord for easier Jacket removal. The cable is identified by the factory print shown below and is listed as UL Listed Art 800 with a General Purpose Fire Rating.
