Alpha Wire 5482C SL001 Xtra Guard 1 is a 2 pair 22 AWG shielded cable built for reliable signal integrity in control, instrumentation, and general-purpose wiring. It features Stranded 22 (7/30) AWG Tinned Copper Conductors with semi-rigid PVC Insulation and an overall Alum/Mylar Foil Shield with a Tinned Copper Drain Wire. A PVC Jacket with a 0.032" nominal wall and ripcord supports easier stripping and durable installation, while the cable is rated 300 V and includes UL and CSA markings in the factory print. Pair and cable twist requirements (8.0 Twists/foot (min) per pair and 5.3 Twists/foot (min) for the cabled components) help maintain consistent electrical performance.
