UL 1012 describes single-conductor wiring with extruded PVC insulation, used for internal wiring in appliances. It is rated for 80°C and 600V AC, with optional oil resistance at 60°C or 80°C. The conductor size ranges from 28 AWG to 9 AWG, either solid or stranded, and the wiring meets horizontal flame resistance standards.
