UL 1016 Code Summary
UL 1016 outlines single-conductor wiring with extruded PVC insulation for internal appliance wiring. It is rated for 105°C and 600V AC, with horizontal flame resistance and optional oil resistance at 60°C or 80°C. The conductor sizes range from 28 AWG to 9 AWG, either solid or stranded, and are suitable for electronic use with peak voltages up to 2500V.
