UL 1038 Code Summary
UL 1038 refers to single conductor wires with extruded PVC insulation, designed for internal wiring in devices such as electric bookkeeping, accounting, or time-recording machines. The wire is rated for 60°C and 300V AC and must be made with tinned or bare conductors of 24 AWG to 20 AWG. It also features horizontal flame resistance.
