UL Code 1045 defines a single conductor wire with extruded PVC insulation, primarily used for internal wiring in lighting circuits and refrigeration equipment. The wire is rated for 90°C and 300V, offering optional oil resistance at 60°C or 80°C. It is constructed from 20 AWG to 16 AWG stranded or solid copper conductors, and is compliant with UL 758 standards for appliance wiring.
