UL Code 1046 Summary
UL Code 1046 describes a single conductor wire with extruded PVC insulation and an extruded nylon covering. It is rated for 90°C and 300V, with optional oil resistance at 60°C or 80°C. This wire is used for internal wiring in lighting circuits of refrigeration equipment and is compliant with UL 758 standards. The conductor is made from 20 AWG to 16 AWG solid or stranded copper.
