UL Style 1196 Code Summary
UL Style 1196 is a single-conductor wire with extruded PVC insulation, rated for 300 Vac and 105°C. The wire supports 20 to 16 AWG conductors, with solid or stranded options for 20 AWG and stranded for 18 and 16 AWG. It is suitable for internal lighting circuits in refrigerating equipment, with optional oil resistance at 60°C or 80°C.
