UL Style 1220 Code Summary
UL Style 1220 is a high-temperature, 600-volt single-conductor wire with extruded PVC insulation. Rated up to 105°C, it can also be used in oil applications at lower temperatures. This wire, available in 8 to 6 AWG stranded sizes, is mainly used for internal wiring in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, meeting UL 758 standards.
