UL Style 1279 Code Summary
UL Style 1279 is a single-conductor wire with extruded PVC insulation, designed for internal wiring in appliances. It is rated for 60°C in wet conditions, 80°C in dry environments, and optionally oil-resistant at 60°C or 80°C. The conductor sizes range from 7 AWG to 2 AWG, and the wire has horizontal flame resistance and moisture resistance, rated at 600V AC. This wire complies with UL 758 standards.
