UL Style 1318 Summary
UL Style 1318 is a wiring standard for single conductors with extruded insulation and a non-integral extruded covering, rated for up to 600V AC. This wire, used in appliance internal wiring, comes in copper or aluminum from 8 AWG to 6 AWG and is suitable for high temperatures, depending on the material used. It features PVC insulation and nylon covering for durability and oil resistance.
