Description
Belden 1086A 010 is a UL instrumentation power limited tray cable designed for industrial control and instrumentation wiring in raceways, cable trays, and ducts. It features 24 triads of 20 AWG (7x28) BC - Bare Copper conductors with PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride insulation, plus 1 communication wire of 22 AWG (7x30) BC - Bare Copper. For noise rejection, the triads are individually shielded and the cable includes an overall Beldfoil® shield with 100% coverage, protected by a black PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride outer jacket. UL Voltage Rating is 300 V (CMG, PLTC, UL AWM 2464), 150 V (ITC).

- Includes both individual and overall shields, with an overall Beldfoil® shield providing 100% coverage for noise rejection.
- Black PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride outer jacket with an outer jacket ripcord.
- UL Voltage Rating: 300 V (CMG, PLTC, UL AWM 2464), 150 V (ITC).
- Operating: -30°C to +105°C; UL temperature: 105°C.
Belden 1086A 010 Applications
- Supports industrial control and instrumentation wiring where organized routing is needed in raceways, cable trays, and ducts.
- Works well in digital control installations, including distributed control system (DCS) and programmable logic controller (PLC) wiring.
- Commonly used for instruments (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...) and low voltage digital control (24v, …) signal wiring.
- Use it for RTD and other control circuits where consistent signal handling is required.
- Apply it to field devices such as solenoids and valves, actuators, positioners.
