Description
Belden 8138 060 is a multi-pair computer communications cable designed for EIA RS-232/485 signal transmission in extended-distance and control applications. It features 8 pairs of 28 AWG stranded (7x36) TC - Tinned Copper conductors with PE - Polyethylene (Foam) insulation. For noise rejection, it uses a tape shield with 100% coverage plus a Tinned Copper (TC) braid shield with 65% coverage, along with a 28 AWG (7x36) TC drain wire. The PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride jacket in Chrome is rated 30 V (UL AWM 2919) and 80°C (UL AWM 2919).
