Description
Belden 8163 060 is a multi-pair computer and digital audio cable designed for RS-232 extended distance and RS-422 applications, as well as low voltage analog and digital control and panel wiring. It features 3 twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors and a PVC jacket in Chrome. For EMI/RFI reduction, each pair is individually shielded with 100% Beldfoil®, plus an overall 100% Beldfoil® shield and a tinned copper braid (65% coverage) with a drain wire. It carries UL voltage rating: 300 V (CM), 300 V (UL AWM 2493) and UL temperature: 60°C.

- Overall shielding: tape, bi-laminate (Alum+Poly), 100% plus braid, tinned copper (TC), 65% for braid-over-foil shield construction.
- PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride jacket in Chrome for indoor general-purpose installations.
- UL voltage rating: 300 V (CM), 300 V (UL AWM 2493).
- UL temperature: 60°C; operating temperature: -40°C to +60°C.
