Belden 8164 060 is a multi-pair computer and digital audio cable for EIA RS-232/422 communications, including extended-distance RS-232 and RS-422 applications. It is built with 4 twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded (7x32) TC - tinned copper conductors and PE - polyethylene (foam) insulation. For noise reduction, it includes an inner shield on each pair plus an overall 100% Beldfoil® shield and a tinned copper braid (65% coverage). The PVC - polyvinyl chloride jacket in Chrome includes a ripcord and a 24 AWG (7x32) TC drainwire to support termination and routing.

- PVC - polyvinyl chloride jacket with ripcord and a 24 AWG (7x32) TC drainwire to help with termination and routing.
