Description
Belden 8170 060 is a shielded multi-pair data and audio cable designed for Computer EIA RS-232/422 and digital audio performance in demanding control and communications environments. It features 10 twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors with Datalene® insulation and individual pair shielding to improve noise rejection. For additional protection, it includes an overall 100% Beldfoil® shield, a tinned copper braid shield (65% coverage), and a drain wire under a PVC jacket.

- Individual pair shield: Tape, Bi-Laminate (Alum+Poly), 100%, each pair, Z-Fold® Foil-in for improved noise rejection.
- Overall shield: Tape, Bi-Laminate (Alum+Poly), 100% plus overall braid: Tinned Copper (TC), 65%.
- PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride jacket in Chrome.
- UL voltage rating: 300 V (CM), 300 V (UL AWM 2493).
