Description
Belden 8342 060 is a Computer EIA RS-232 Cable designed for extended distance RS-232 links, computer communications, and low voltage analog and digital control signals. It uses 24 AWG stranded (7x32) TC - Tinned Copper conductors with SR-PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride (Semi-Rigid) insulation. For noise rejection, it features an overall Beldfoil® (100% coverage) plus tinned copper braid shield (65% coverage). The PVC jacket is Chrome and is intended for indoor installations.

- Shield type: braid over foil shield with tape shield: Bi-Laminate (Alum+Poly), 100% and braid shield: tinned copper (TC), 65%.
- PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride jacket in Chrome for indoor use.
- UL voltage rating: 300 V (CMG), 300 V (UL AWM 2464).
- Operating temperature: -30°C to +80°C; UL temperature: 80°C.
