It is a 1 conductor 18 AWG (16x30) TC - Tinned Copper wire with PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride insulation in black. This wire is rated TYPE MW MIL-W-76C-PVC 1000V 80C with a UL voltage rating of 1000 V RMS and a UL temperature of 80°C.
