Description
Belden 8866 002 is a low temp plastic lead wire designed for internal wiring of electronic equipment and high voltage applications. It is a 1-conductor 18 AWG (16x30) TC - Tinned Copper wire with PO - Polyolefin insulation and a red PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride outer jacket. It includes a .008 in. conductive polyethylene layer over stranding to help provide uniform distribution of voltage stresses. Electrical ratings include 40,000 V DC, 11,000 V RMS (AC (60 Hertz)), and an 80,000 V (DC) breakdown voltage, with a max. current of 62.0 A in free air @ 30ºC.
