Description
Belden 89842 002 is a 2 pair 24 AWG RS-485 and computer/P.O.S. communication cable with a red FEP outer jacket and CMP plenum rating. It uses 24 AWG (7x32) TC - Tinned Copper conductors with FEP - Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (Foam) insulation. For noise-sensitive installations, it includes an overall Beldfoil® shield plus a tinned copper braid (90%) and a 24 AWG (7x32) TC drainwire. The cable is designed around 120 Ohm nominal characteristic impedence.
