Description
Belden 9809 060 is a low-capacitance computer communications cable designed for EIA RS-232 extended distance applications and RS-422 installations. It is built with 9 shielded pairs of 28 AWG stranded (7x36) tinned copper conductors with polypropylene insulation and a PVC jacket. For noise rejection, it includes an overall Beldfoil® (100% coverage) plus tinned copper braid shield (90% coverage), along with a 28 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire for grounding. It is also described as well-suited for low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low voltage digital control (24v, …), line level audio, and panel wiring.
