It features a foil Shielded - alum/mylar design with an overall Shield & drain to help reduce electrical noise in industrial equipment control and EIA RS-232 applications. The construction includes a Tinned Copper Stranded Conductor, SRPVC-semi-rigid polyvinyl chloride Insulation, and a PVC-polyvinyl chloride Jacket. It is rated 300 volts and meets UL 2464 with NEC Type CMR (UL) c(UL), CSA CMG, and UL Listed Art 800 Riser requirements.
