LAPP Group 2170893 ETHERLINE® Y FC Cat.5 is a shielded industrial Ethernet cable for generic cabling systems and field/cell-level networking. It supports PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PoE and PoE+, with Category 5e performance up to 100 MHz.

Construction:

• 22 AWG solid bare copper conductors
• 2 pairs (4 conductors) in star-quad construction
• Polyolefin insulation
• PVC inner sheath
• Aluminum-laminated foil plus tinned-copper braid shield, 85% ±5% coverage
• Green PVC outer sheath
• Nominal OD: 6.5 mm

Applications: PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), PLCs, sensors and industrial field/cell networking. This cable is suitable for fixed installation and occasional flexing; it is not represented here as a continuous-flex robotic cable.

The cable is flame retardant and largely resistant to acids, alkalis and certain oils.
