Panduit SRB19ED5BL is a strain relief bar for a standard rack that extends 5 in. off the rack face, supporting incoming cable and holding it to a controlled bend radius before it reaches the panel behind it. Cable that turns hard immediately behind a patch panel gives up performance at the bend and leaves its own weight hanging on the terminations; a bar carries that weight and pushes the turn far enough out that the bend radius stays inside what the cable is rated for.
