Panduit STP28X1MIG is a Category 6A shielded patch cord on 28 AWG cable in a short 1 m length, sized for patching between adjacent panels or from a panel to equipment in the same cabinet. The thin conductor is the whole point of the cord: it cuts the volume a patch field puts into its vertical and horizontal managers, so a full panel can still be dressed, traced and re-patched. Because a reduced conductor size also reduces current-carrying capacity, confirm the bundle and remote-powering rules that apply before using 28 AWG cordage on powered links. It is supplied in International Gray.
