Description
Panduit UTPSP8BUY is an 8 ft. Category 6 patch cord with TX6 PLUS modular plugs at both ends, in blue. Blue is the default color for general data in most schemes, so this is the cord that gets ordered by the box and consumed across an office floor. Eight feet is the practical middle length: long enough to reach from a patch panel to equipment a few rack units away with the slack dressed into a manager, short enough that the excess never has to be coiled. The 24 AWG four-pair stranded cable runs Gigabit Ethernet and, within the distances the 10GBASE-T standards allow, 10 Gigabit.
