Identify the shipment's actual endpoint

The billing office, nearest town, and final receiving gate may be different places. Use the address and access directions approved by the receiver, and identify who is responsible for any onward movement from a staging point.
Quote the cable for the equipment or installation
Start with the approved cable specification or the manufacturer and complete part number. For equipment replacement, include the equipment reference and existing cable designation from available records.
List conductor size and count, required ratings, shielding, and jacket construction when the part number does not fully identify the requirement. State whether each run must be continuous and keep spare material separate.
- Use mining cable when that category is named in the approved equipment or project requirements.
- Use control and tray cable for the specified fixed control or facility wiring.
- Use VFD cable when required by the approved drive and cable specification.
- Use portable cord only where the selected cord is approved for the intended service.

Give remote-site receiving details early
A delivery inquiry for a remote site should include:
- Named receiving point, gate directions, and a contact reachable on delivery day.
- Receiving hours, appointment procedure, and access requirements supplied by the site.
- Truck or access-road restrictions that the receiver knows apply.
- Available unloading equipment and any reel or package limits.
- Whether delivery to a staffed staging warehouse is an acceptable alternative.
Ask for proposed package dimensions and weights when they affect access or unloading. Confirm the delivery scope in the freight quote, including where the carrier's responsibility ends.
Separate readiness from transit time
Tell us the date the site can accept material and the date it is needed for the work. If a maintenance window depends on one cable line, mark that line as critical rather than treating every item as equally urgent.
Confirm product availability, preparation time, and estimated freight transit for the quoted origin and destination. The carrier and receiver should check current access conditions before dispatch. Nevada 511 provides public-road travel information; the site must confirm its own entrance and private-road conditions.
