Provide the manufacturer and complete part number when available. Otherwise, send the conductor material, size and count, voltage rating, shielding, insulation and jacket, and any required environmental or application ratings.
Where the project requires a wet-location rating, sunlight resistance, repeated-flex capability, or a specific onboard approval, state that requirement explicitly. Have the responsible professional review the exact cable for its intended use.
Request available product datasheets with your quote. An alternative should be reviewed against the approved requirements before ordering, even when it appears similar or can ship sooner.
